Top Family ALDI Favorites

Top Family ALDI Favorites

I love Aldi for so many reasons. The main reason is that our family saves money with our weekly grocery shopping. Great Customer Service and awesome guarantees on their products. And so much more! What makes me even happier is that my family enjoys their buys as much as I do. Over the years we have had so many different new and old products that we have tried, liked and enjoyed. If you are a huge fan of them as much as we are then here are some of our Top Family Aldi Favorites that I hope you will enjoy as much as we do.

  1. Frozen PizzasMy family loves anything pizza related! They enjoy the medium size pizzas that around $2.20-$2.50 price range. They normally come in: cheese, pepperoni, combination-sausage & pepperoni, 4-meat and supreme. We use to get the deluxe pizza (not sure if that is the name) in the box that cost a little more but I was so attracted to the price and they loved it so…why not?!?
  2. Salads and anything salad related

They love the romaine lettuce, spring mix or even bags of spinach (use for smoothies too) and prepackaged Ceasar salad. Throw in croutons, bacon bits, tomatoes, chopped boiled eggs and a ranch dressing they are GOOD! I would add more to my salad preferably.

  3. Breakfast Foods

Well they enjoy a lot of there breakfast items so I thought I would add them all together here: Sausage patties (frozen section, preferably Mable flavor), Waffles (frozen and seasonal blueberry flavor), Grits, French Toast Sticks, Biscuits (Refrigeration section), Cereals ( aka Frosted Flakes, Fruit loops, Applejacks, and more), Toasters (aka Pop-tarts) and Cereal Bars.

  4. Bread and Crackers

They love their Hawaiian rolls (who doesn’t) they are cheaper than the National bread. Also their garlic bread (4 or 5 cheese is the FAV!) My family loves their Butter rounds and saltine crackers just alone by themselves but adding dip, cheese and butter just make it all much better.

  5. Frozen Meats

Their chicken nuggets ( love the price around $3.20), Parmesan Chicken (frozen section) we love to slice up the chicken and put in our salads.

  6. French Fries

The price is the best that is tough to beat! My family loves putting them in the air fryer to cook. They normally prefer the crinkle or tater tots. Sometimes we like to add the Dollar Tree french fry seasoning to them for added flavor.

  7. Snacks

Whether they are healthy or not we have both types of snack favorites. Their peanut butter  (.98 cents) and coconut cookies ($1.29) are a hit in our home. They really remind and taste just like the Girls Scout cookies. Pretzels in all of the different shapes and sizes are great for a quick, crunchy and salty snack. They carry raisins in a large container for snack prepping or individual boxes; these are great for more natural sweetness when a sweet tooth may arise.  The price for their Chips is amazing! Less than $1.00 for tortillas, sour cream & onion, BBQ, cheddar cheese ruffles, nacho cheddar chips, and jalapeno kettle chips. Applesauce and cherry fruit mix cups are great for lunch boxes and fridge stockpiles for the family.

  8. Fruit – The prices of Aldi prices are outstanding. When those coins are a little tight, you’re sticking to a budget and still want to eat healthy Aldi certainly has your back. Some of our top family Aldi favorites are their grapes, bananas, watermelon, strawberries, and oranges.
  9. Dairy

Icecream is a family favorite for sure!! The large tub of Cookie N Cream is such a great buy for $3.99 at times and $4.99 at others. White and Chocolate milk is essential in our household, from the oldest to the youngest (They drink it the most! LOL!)

  10. Condiments starting with the most used condiment used is ketchup. Aldi sales this in two different sizes for an amazing price. Hot sauce ($65 cents) is a must in our home and the boys love it on just about everything. Literally! Peanut butter and concord jelly go super duper fast in our home a low price is a must.

My families top Aldi favorites are always essentials and staples in our home. I am sure I left out some more and possibly make this a 2 part blog post. But please stay tuned for My Top Aldi Favorites (Mommy’s point of view). Maybe some of all of these Top Family Favorites will become you and your families favorites as well. You will love the break in our pocketbook for sure!
