Valentines Day Rustic Farmhouse Tablescape Ideas

February 1, 2021 by Hope

Valentines Tablesetting Romance rustic farmhouse

This particular tablescape for Valentine’s day had a romantic, rustic/farmhouse, feminine and neutral aesthetic. I really like the airy and farmhouse look and vibe. What I enjoy the most from this farmhouse valentine’s table setting is that everything I had on hand already from around our home.

Whenever you are creating a look or decorating your home, shopping for your own home can bring inspiration and definitely helps the pocketbook before heading to the store for something new. You will be amazed at placing an item in a different space of your home giving the room or space a different look and feel.

Centerpiece

The centerpiece is very simple, filled with roses inside a crate. The centerpiece normally sits on top of the entertainment center in my craft room. I love how versatile the crate filled with roses is and it can be used in different spaces in our home and for different seasons.

  • Roses (foam material)
  • Wooden Crate – I purchase my create from Michaels a few years ago but I tried to find one very similar.
  • Burlap Table Runner
  • Doilies (large)- Purchased from Dollar Tree and varies sizes

Place setting

A place setting can be as simple or over the top as you will like for it to be. This valentine’s table setting is probably one of the simplistic place settings that I have actually created. Neutral colors bring a simplistic tone to most décor aspects.

  • Burlap placemats
  • White beaded chargers – Dollar Tree
  • White Dinner Plates – Dollar Tree
  • White gold trim salad plates – Thrift store; always be sure to check with your local thrift store for unique finds.
  • White Cloth Napkins
  • Stemless Glass Wine Glasses
  • Glass Water Goblets
  • Silverware Cutlery Set

Decorations

Decorations bring character and uniqueness to the table. Bringing in extra decor to the table gives you the chance to bring in things that you like, love, and items that you think your guest will enjoy.

  • Greenery Candle Ring
  • Flameless Candles
  • White Candle Holder Stand – Target’s Bullseye Playground

Look around your home and see what you have in a new beautiful space. I know you can do it! Step back, look around and get those creative juices flowing.

Hope, the tablescape is just right… Simple but elegant! I love shopping my home, it almost gives me that same gratification I get from buying stuff… Almost! I first sub your channel because of your tablescapes, only I didn’t know thats what they were called. It’s just what I lived… Fondest memory growing up. Your family will always cherish these details. Take care!
